Workplace Checklist
Are your human rights being respected at work? If any of the following points apply to you, make sure to tell someone close by who you trust. If you have no one to talk to, please consider our consultation service.
I work more than 45 hours
of overtime a month.
I have falsely reported the number
of hours I work overtime.
I am working more or less than my
contracted hours, without being told why.
My salary or overtime hours
are not being paid in full.
I am not free to take paid holidays.
My employer threatened to send me back to my country or not renew my visa.
My company is keeping my
residence card, passport, or bankbook.
I am not free to use consultation services.
I am not free to join a labor union.
Sexual remarks or actions at work
are making me feel uncomfortable.
I have not been told about workplace dangers or evacuation procedures.
When I was injured or became ill at work, my company did not pay compensation
or failed to assist me.
I have experienced violence at work.
E.g., someone slapped me on the head. Someone hit my helmet with a tool.
